These terms cover the zqlz.dev website and the ZQLZ builds published on it. By using the site or downloading ZQLZ, you agree to them.
ZQLZ is free and open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later (GPL). Your rights to use, copy, modify, and redistribute ZQLZ come from the GPL, not from these terms. Nothing here restricts the rights the GPL gives you. Source code is on GitHub.
ZQLZ runs on your computer and connects directly to databases you configure. We do not operate a service that receives your connections, credentials, queries, or results. You are responsible for the databases you connect to and the actions you run against them, including destructive queries. Keep backups.
If you enable AI completions with your own API key, ZQLZ sends query context directly to the provider you choose, under that provider's terms.
ZQLZ is early-stage. Features may change or be removed, and builds may contain bugs that affect data you work with. Use preview builds with extra care.
ZQLZ and this website are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as described in sections 15 and 16 of the GPL. To the extent permitted by law, the ZQLZ maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from use of the software or website, including data loss.
The ZQLZ name and logo identify this project. Database names and logos shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest revision. Questions go to GitHub issues.
